pantone spring summer 2015

The Pantone color palate for the upcoming Spring/Summer season is called “En Plein Air” which is French for “outdoors”. They are from the cooler, softer side of the color spectrum with a mix of understated brights, pale pastels and nature-like neutrals.

The lead color is aquamarine which is not only one of my favorite colors, it’s my signature color! I am also excited to see classic blue making a comeback. It is such a good blue for most everyone and such a happy color.

Some color combos I am looking forward to seeing are:

*  Aquamarine/Marsala

*  Scuba/Toasted Almond

*  Lucite Green/Strawberry Ice

This palate is sure to influence the jewelry pieces I make, so check back in to see where I take it. I will also be back with a discussion on how to incorporate these colors for your wedding design.

What are your favorite colors from this color collection? Leave me a comment below!

I also did a little searching and found some lovely ways to work this palate into your wardrobe this spring. The links are below if you want to take a look at them.

  • I think the colors that work best for me are toasted almond, glacier gray and marsala. I’ll have to see aquamarine and lucite green in person to see if they soft toned enough for me.
