LGBT Rockabilly Wedding

[Real Bride Spotlight] Rockabilly Bridal Jewelry

Alicen and I met at a bridal fair and told me about her rockabilly theme. I loved the idea and wanted to help her bring her vision to life.

For months I had planned to make my own jewelry, but when I got down to the wire, I knew I had too much on my plate already.

Problem: Planning a themed wedding and ran out of time to make her own unique jewelry pieces.

Solution: We met for about an hour and designed a perfect jewelry set consisting of a necklace and earrings.

Themed Wedding & Bridal Jewelry

Alicen wanted really unique jewelry to fit her rockabilly wedding theme. The colors were turquoise, gray with pops of red! We designed these earrings to be flexible yet trendy! The center is a black diamond swarovski crystal stud. The turquoise skull and red crystals on the chain is an earring jacket. It slips on to the back of the post once you put the post through your ear. This creates a dimensional look to the earrings. Plus, Alicen can wear the studs solo!

Her necklace, an assymetrial design, features a red rose with a large metal flower base, flanked with turquoise beads and one turquoise skull. For a little touch of bridal, I added two pearls for a delicate transition to the chain.

This jewelry set really brings her rockabilly theme to life while injecting her personality!

I got a necklace and earrings that brought my personal style to my wedding look in a classy, beautiful way and they are in frequent rotation in my closet still.

When I’m not creating beautiful jewelry — you can find me cuddling with my 2 kids and 2 cats, sneaking away for wine tasting with my hubby and I almost always have a coffee in hand.
