Dressing Your Truth and Loving It!!!

DYTtype1, Type 1,

Hello!

Today I want to share with you a program I found recently that I truly believe in. It is changing the way I dress and feel. My mom and I have joined together, and she looks amazing! Before this program I was trying to find my fashion sense after 4 years of pregnancy and breastfeeding. My body was different. I was older and a mom. So what I was wearing before just didn’t suit me any more. Therefore, I was spending most of my time in comfy yoga pants and nursing tanks.

The program is called Dressing Your Truth. It helps you find your true nature and energy and guides you to dress who you are from the inside out.

What it’s not:

  • it is not about fashion, what’s in or trendy
  • it is not about spending loads of money
  • it’s not about trying to be something you are not

What it is:

  • it is about being who you are and loving yourself for it
  • accepting your amazing qualities and understanding your challenges
  • letting your true self shine through and finding the clothes and colors that will let others see it

From this course I learned that I am a Type 1, and my mom is a Type 2. We are very similar, but we have different dominate energies that we express. I get to wear bright tints and she gets to wear more muted tones. You will be given guidelines on colors and dress lines to wear. It will make shopping easier and more enjoyable, On the surface it is about clothes, but I can’t tell you what it has done for me internally. Learning about my true self will help me in my life, relationships and in business. It will open your eyes to who you think you are and free yourself from who you think you should be.

There are 4 types in total and I encourage you to find yours today!

What this means for me:

This means I will be creating amazing new jewelry designs for all 4 types of Dressing Your Truth. This does not mean you need to follow the dressing your truth course in order wear and love Style Avenue Studios jewelry. It just means I will also be adding jewelry based on the guidelines Carol teaches. I can’t wait to get started.

If you choose to take course, follow me on Instagram (@styleavestudios), and I will follow you back. We can enjoy this journey together!

When I’m not creating beautiful jewelry — you can find me cuddling with my 2 kids and 2 cats, sneaking away for wine tasting with my hubby and I almost always have a coffee in hand.

I hate shopping for clothes because there are too many choices, yet very little appeals to me or looks good on me. I like the DYT system because I know exactly what colors, styles, fabrics, and textures/designs to look for. I can swoop into a store with laser focus and quickly see if there is anything likely to work for me–whether that’s at a high-end department store or a thrift shop or on line. Saves me a lot of time and a lot of wasted money.
